Labor Day Camping

DCF has a long history of gathering together to camp on Labor Day weekend. It's a great weekend to fellowship with others and enjoy the outdoors!

When is it?

DCF Labor Day Camping activities take place Saturday, August 30 & 31. However, many families will spend the whole week camping.

Who's invited?

Anyone! No matter how little or how long you have been attending DCF, we would love to see you! Don't want to camp? No worries, feel free to come out for the day on Saturday or Sunday morning for worship.

Labor Day Camping is at Waterloo State Park - Portage Lake

Directions to Portage Lake Camping (Waterloo State Park): I-94 West (toward Jackson) to Exit 150 North on Mt. Hope Road (approximately 3 miles) to Seymour Road West (left) on Seymour (approximately 2 miles) to park entrance

How do I sign up?

You can reserve your site 6 months out from your camping date. (End of February/Early March)

Many of the church congregants reserve spots in the North and Central locations. Contact DCF for more information

Camping

What is it?

Labor Day camping includes lots of fellowship as a church. Many can be found at the beach during the day. We also have some sports games & a potluck on Saturday.
